End of Season Finale

Today we hired the gorgeous Departure Lounge rural venue for the clubs private members-only end of season finale.

Set in the beautiful Hampshire countryside, The Departure Lounge was able to offer us supercar parking for all 60 booked cars, a marquee for if it rained as well as indoor sit-down space inside their restaurant for 100 guests.

With 60 cars and 125 guest tickets booked, we were scheduled for the largest club gathering ever!

However, the weather had something to say about it. The forecast was for some light rain, which inevitably came, just a reminder that we are coming to the end of summer.

Despite this, we still had 40 beautiful members cars over the afternoon turn up with people driving down from London to be at our event.

Meat and vegetarian hamburgers, hot dogs and a variety of other foods on offer. Washed down with a pint or two (not for the drivers, of course!).

Once the marshals had lined up the cars, up went the drones to capture some of the atmosphere and car variety. Please see below, our event video for more on this.

With regulars catching up with each other, lots of new members meeting the rest of the gang for the first time, old friends meeting up for the first time in years and a little business networking thrown in for good measure, the feedback from the group was extremely positive.

Finesse car cleaners were on site set up and ready to meet and greet guests with a cleaning demonstration. Cleaning members cars until it was practically dark!

Thank You To…

Thank you to everyone for making the effort to bring their supercars out for our end of season event.

Thank you to our volunteer marshals, club member Ricky and Russell (my brother) for getting everyone parked up safely, nicely spaced for photographs and drone video work, but also so that people had room to leave at a time that suited them.

Thank you to Finesse car cleaners for coming out to clean our cars.

Thank you to The Departure Lounge for your hospitality, delicious food and drink, all set in such a splendid rural backdrop.

Thank you to TCW.auto for their photos (see below gallery), capturing the frivolities!

Sorry its about 3 1/2 minutes long, but I wanted to make sure everyone’s car was included at least once. Hopefully I achieved that.
