We were once again invited by our friends at Bell Sport & Classic to come watch the Italian F1 with them, as well as complimentary pizza and gelato. How very Italian of them! We just couldn’t resist!
It gave us the perfect opportunity to look around their facility too.
Bell Sport & Classic specialise in the Restoration, Sales and Servicing of Classic and Supercars with a beautiful showroom, workshop, and engineering facilities all on one site in Hertfordshire.
On arrival, we were greeted by the BS&C team members and parked up efficiently. It was time to take a tour around.
Time for pizza….
Who doesn’t like freshly stone-baked pizza? There was plenty too and we all got stuck in!
Time for gelato….
Delicious Italian ice cream it lots of unpronounceable flavours!
Time for the F1….
With Ferrari sitting in pole position for the Italian Grand Prix, it was sure to be an exciting race!
Max Verstappen rose from seventh on the grid to claim victory, beating Charles Leclerc and George Russell to the chequered flag for his first Monza win.
Verstappen worked his way up into the podium positions in little more than a lap, before overhauling Russell on the track and Leclerc in the pit lane – the top three drivers all running different tyre strategies.
A late Safety Car to cover Daniel Ricciardo’s stricken McLaren threatened to turn the race on its head, with Verstappen’s comfortable advantage being slashed – but proceedings finished under caution and his victory was secured.
