Excited to be getting the cars out, there was a massive sign up for our New Year extended drive! Multiple convoys from various meet points across the south with one meet point attracting 35 cars. A staggered departure from this point for a carefully curated 1.5 hour drive across country was captured on route by our amazing team of photographers who braved the cold weather to capture the action!
It was a beautifully sunny, but frosty morning which made for a fabulous drive out. Check out one of the many convoys from the morning. So many at one meet point we had to split it in half!
Thanks to the team at Goodwood, we had pre booked reserved parking for all our cars in the main paddocks. The Goodwood team also laid on breakfast via their Aerodrome Cafe as well as a manned paddock based food van which meant our 100 or so guests were served as efficiently as possible.
The Goodwood Motor Circuit, nestled in the picturesque South Downs of England, is a motorsport haven revered for its history and exhilarating challenges. This 2.3-mile masterpiece, unchanged since its 1948 debut, blends vintage charm with modern thrills, hosting iconic events like the Goodwood Revival, where classic cars and vintage attire transport you back to racing’s golden age.
Another fantastically successful event for the club and wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, so early in the year!
