After a planned trip to Hertfordshire had to be rescheduled last minute due to a major fire, we were delighted to get an invite from our friends at Meridien Modena Ferrari for breakfast at their New Forest showroom instead.
As always, there were multiple secret meet points across the southern counties which led to our supercar convoys. We had to limit numbers to ensure everyone got parked up safely. Despite the weather, places were sold out!

Some of our cars turning up at the showroom….
Arrival at this historic and award-winning Ferrari main dealer with our flags flying is always a pleasure and we were greeted by the friendly team including one of the directors Glenn Butt with all our cars successfully parked up safely.

As always, an eclectic mix of marques was in attendance. Something we love about our club!

Meridien Modena generously put on a delicious breakfast for the squad which was an opportunity to catch up while browsing the impressive prancing horse inventory.

Being in this dealership is like visiting mini Italy. The architecture and the greenery remind us of a visit to Modena.

Whilst our Ferrari owners were out in mass, the legendary brand caught the interest of those members with other marques too, even those with raging bulls…

Cramming club cars into every inch of space….

The breadth of the inventory of Marenello’s finest was incredible. Not just all the current models but some masterpieces of the past too! Including ex Michael Schumacher F2002 F1 car sitting pretty in one corner.

One of our favourites was this, the last of the normally aspirated mid-engine specials, the 458 Speciale complete with tricolore stripe.

But stealing today’s show was club member David R. with his newest acquisition to his portfolio, this truly stunning Ferrari 296 GTB in Azzuro Dino with Giallo Modena livery which is inspired by a very special 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO.
David’s car is equipped with the hardcore optional Assetto Fiorano pack. This pack adds additional pro handling as well as all carbon fibre doors inc. gorgeous glossy exposed carbon door cards. The carbon extends throughout the cabin too, including the seat backs and gear paddles.
David only picked up the car the day before so it was a real treat to see it so quickly after!

That’s it for this event, we’d like to thank the team at Meridien Modena for hosting us once again, to everyone who joined us for this one, our photographers and everyone else involved. We look forward to seeing you all again soon.
