Thanks to our friends at Lamborghini Bristol, we were invited to come along and see the all new Temerario against the dramatic backdrop of their Bristol showroom. This car is the replacement for the outbound Huracan.
The Lamborghini Temerario marks a significant step in Lamborghini’s electrification strategy, replacing the Huracán and introducing a new era of hybrid super sports cars. It features a newly developed twin-turbo V8 engine, combined with three electric motors, delivering a combined power output that pushes performance boundaries.
Notably, this new V8 is engineered to reach an impressive 10,000 rpm, a feat rarely seen in production vehicles, showcasing Lamborghini’s commitment to high-revving, thrilling driving experiences.
This new model is the second vehicle in Lamborghini’s HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) range. It distinguishes itself by blending the raw power of a traditional Lamborghini engine with the efficiency and instant torque of electric motors.
This hybrid powertrain allows for breath taking acceleration, with a 0-62 mph sprint achieved in a mere 2.7 seconds, and a top speed exceeding 213 mph. The vehicle also showcases advancements in aerodynamics and chassis technology, ensuring exceptional handling and stability at high speeds.
Beyond its performance, the Temerario also represents a leap forward in design and technology for Lamborghini. It integrates advanced connectivity and customisation options, offering a more personalised and immersive driving experience.
The interior is designed with a “feel like a pilot” philosophy, emphasising both driver engagement and comfort. The overall aesthetic combines futuristic elements with iconic Lamborghini design cues, creating a visually striking and technologically advanced super sports car.
