It was a thrill to private hire the test track at Mercedes-Benz World and we took along an eclectic mix of cars along to take full advantage.
Mercedes-Benz World, situated at the historic Brooklands motor racing circuit in Weybridge, Surrey, is more than just a car showroom; it’s an immersive experience into the world of the German automotive giant.

Opened in 2006, this impressive facility allows visitors to explore the vast heritage and cutting-edge innovation of Mercedes-Benz. Spread across three floors, you’ll find over 100 vehicles on display, ranging from iconic classics like the 300SL Gullwing to the latest high-performance AMG models and even Formula 1 cars. It’s a fantastic place for enthusiasts and families alike, offering a close-up look at the evolution and engineering prowess of this legendary brand.

Beyond the static displays, Mercedes-Benz World truly comes alive with its driving experiences. Here, you can get behind the wheel of a variety of Mercedes-Benz vehicles on purpose-built tracks, including handling circuits, a skid pan, and even a challenging 4×4 off-road course. They offer experiences for all ages and skill levels, from junior driving sessions to high-speed thrills in AMG models.
As with most of our events, it all starts with a spirited convoy from various meet points across the south of the UK.

On arrival we had arranged a reserved supercar parking area for our cars. This meant that they could all be parked up safely to avoid any damage of these incredible machines.
This time there was a mix of supercars and the daily drives of some of our members.

After grabbing some lunch at the venue, it was time for the drivers briefing as safety was paramount. After which, it was time to get out on track so we split our club members into two groups.

It was fantastic being able to take our cars on track and enjoy them in a safely controlled environment.

Once we had fully experienced the track it was time to go and look around the Mercedes-Benz Museum. A fascinating display of cars from the very early years, all the way to the modern era.

We’d like to say a huge thanks all those that participated and that came along but special mentions to Andy M who helped arrange the event and to Michael Guy & Ned Boggis who both captured the event photos with their cameras!
Huge thanks to the team at Mercedes-Benz World for your hospitality throughout our event, reserved supercar parking and the delicious brunch!
