Bremont Tool Watches | Oxfordshire

We were delighted to be invited back to the home of British watchmaking once again.

Bremont Watches is a British luxury watch brand established in 2002 by brothers Nick and Giles English, driven by a passion for aviation and mechanical engineering. Their initial inspiration stemmed from their father’s own passion and a traumatic plane crash, leading them to create timepieces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but are also durable enough to withstand extreme conditions.

The brand quickly gained recognition for its commitment to robustness, precision, and reliability, with many of its models featuring hardened steel cases and anti-shock mounts. Bremont’s focus on aviation and military themes led to collaborations with various armed forces and special units worldwide, building a strong reputation for producing genuine tool watches.

Exterior view of the Bremont Watches manufacturing facility, featuring modern architecture with large glass windows and a curved roof, set against a clear blue sky and green grass.

Today, Bremont stands as one of the leading names reviving British watchmaking on a global stage. While many luxury watch brands manufacture overseas, Bremont is deeply committed to its UK roots, operating a state-of-the-art manufacturing and technology center in Henley-on-Thames.

This facility has allowed them to significantly increase their in-house production capabilities, including the manufacturing of movement components, demonstrating a serious, long-term commitment to vertical integration and British craftsmanship. The company’s portfolio has expanded beyond aviation into diving, motorsport, and classic chronometers, but the core ethos remains the same: highly legible, reliable, and beautifully engineered mechanical tool-watches designed for enduring adventure.

Before the tour, as is customary we met for a private dining lunch beforehand. We once again head to The Bottle & Glass pub who have looked after us many times previously.

Reserved supercar parking for all our cars and a tailored menu! An opportunity for a good catch up with everyone before getting on with the serious stuff!

After lunch it was a short run through the countryside to The Wing, the worldwide home of Bremont Watches.

On arrival, there was plenty of reserved parking for our supercars outside the main entrance. Once all the cars were parked up safely, it was time to head in and meet the team.

Bremont welcomed us into their hospitality suite with a selection of delicious sweet snacks and cakes. The bubbly was flowing too, but only a taster for those driving!

After a presentation on the history behind the brand and where it came from, as well as the vision moving forward, it was time to start the manufacturing tour. Fascinating seeing the clean rooms and the watchmakers at work!

Another splendid lifestyle event and a treat to get behind the scenes of this leading British watch maker for our lucky club members.

As is often the case, one lucky club member couldn’t resist the opportunity to secure a new special watch! This one all titanium! Congrats MK!
