It was fantastic for Meridien Modena Ferrari to reach out, inviting us to watch some F1 action with them at their New Forrest, Hampshire showroom, with complimentary drinks and wood-fired pizzas!
Needless to say the 25 spaces for our supercars and 50 guests were snapped up!
As always, the event started off with various meet points across the south followed by a spirited convoy to the venue.
It never gets old seeing a snake of supercars in front of you and in your rear view mirror!
On arrival the Meridien team were on hand to ensure that all the cars got parked up safely.
We then had an opportunity to catch up with with other members of the FMSC community while perusing the impressive inventory of Ferrari new and used stock throughout their site.
Drinks were free flowing and it was time to tuck in to freshly made wood-fired pizza and take in the F1 build-up on the big screen.

Before long, it was time for go, go, go!! And they were off!
The 2025 Qatar Grand Prix was a high-octane spectacle under the desert floodlights of the Lusail International Circuit, where the championship battle reached a fever pitch. From the moment the lights went out, the tension was palpable as Max Verstappen executed a predatory move, lunging past Lando Norris into Turn 1 to ignite a tactical war.
The race was turned on its head on Lap 7 when a collision between Hulkenberg and Gasly triggered a Safety Car; while McLaren rolled the dice by keeping Oscar Piastri and Norris out on track, Red Bull reacted with lightning precision, pitting Verstappen and setting him on a path to clinical dominance.
The final half of the race was a breathless pursuit as the strategy offset unfolded, with Verstappen reclaiming the lead and managing a razor-thin gap against a charging Piastri. In one of the most heartwarming moments of the season, Carlos Sainz delivered a masterful drive to secure a stunning podium for Williams, their second of the year, while Lando Norris fought a desperate battle through the field to salvage fourth.
As Verstappen crossed the line to take the chequered flag, he didn’t just win a race—he slashed the title lead to just 12 points, setting the stage for a legendary winner-takes-all finale in Abu Dhabi!
It was time to depart, but by now it was dark. There is something even more special about seeing supercars in the dark.
