After a year’s delay, we finally set off for what was our first official European tour. Of course, we have tagged on to other people’s tours previously but we wanted a bespoke tour, created just for our club members, only supercars, only our club members, and of course, First Class all the way!

Sadly Team Clarke with the ASTON MARTIN NEW AMR 59 VANTAGE had to retire from the starting grid due to a last minute Covid attack, for which the whole group was truly gutted.
Day 1 – all the teams assemble
All the teams arrive at Folkstone for welcome drinks and dinner. A chance for the group to bond and get to know each other and share in the excitement for the adventure that lay ahead.
On the morning of day 2, we set off to the Euro Tunnel and boarded the train to France.
It wasn’t long until we were in France and bombing along the wrong side of the road……well, the correct side of the road for France of course….
On arrival, we were joined by our resident photographer Mark Houldridge who was able to snap us as we turned off the old race track and into the pits.
As we arrived in different groups with some driving faster than others, not everyone made the group car photo or the group team photo.
Day 2’s First Stop: Reims Historic Motor Circuit
Second Stop: Our first Château of the tour
We arrive at our first chateau which was the perfect excuse to crack open the first of many bottles of champagne that would follow.
This 16th century luxury chateau and spa was the perfect setting for our relaxing evening in the sunshine. Some had a dip in the outdoor pool whilst some hit the sauna and jacuzzi.
