Max Cuthbert is a 14 year old racing driver competing on the British GT race calendar in Ginetta Junior.
With an impressive Karting career behind him, where Max has achieved both a national and international ranking, whilst taking podiums across Europe. He looks to build on this success as he embarks on his career in cars.
Here’s what Max has to say… (March 2024)
“I’m Max Cuthbert, I’m 14 years old and I race cars.
A Ginetta Junior purpose built race car to be exact, powered by a 1.8 litre, four cylinder Zetec engine capable of an impressive top speed of 120 mph…and yes I did say I was 14 years old.
I have dedicated half my life to being an elite level racing driver, and had great success in an international karting career already.
Despite being only 14, my career path is already mapped out and we have already met with some of the top teams.
2024 see’s me debut in cars on the toughest Junior grid there is, Ginetta Junior. We are looking to move to the British Touring Car Junior class next year when possible, this is a new series on the biggest UK racing calendar for 2025. From here we will look to start preparation for a move to an adult licence and unrestricted class, either internationally or on home soil. The end goal is clear, to be one of the best drivers in the world.
