We head back to Brooklands for this Italian festival for what must be the 8th year in a row!
Italian Car Day 2023 was a huge success, with over 10,000 people attending the event. The event celebrated all things Italian, with a focus on cars. Visitors could see a wide variety of Italian cars, from classic sports cars to modern supercars. There were also a number of trade and club stands, as well as food and drink stalls.
In more recent years Brooklands have added the track demonstration on the circuits immediately outside Mercedes Benz World.
Those that have attended each year will remember a few years back when one poor participant went off track in their Lamborghini Huracan and slammed into the barrier causing huge damage to their poor car.
This year, as with previous years, some of the attending club members were invited to take part on track, captured here by club members as well as our official photographer Mark Houldridge.
The whole event was open to the public and was an excellent opportunity to see some of the most iconic Italian cars up close. It was also a great day out for families, with activities for all ages.
Here are some of the highlights of Italian Car Day 2023:
- A display of over 100 classic Italian sports cars, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Maseratis.
- A chance to meet the owners of these amazing cars and learn more about their history.
- A live music stage with performances by Italian bands.
- A vintage fashion show featuring Italian designers.
- A children’s play area with activities for all ages.
- A variety of food and drink stalls to keep you fueled throughout the day.
